Floor Standing Lapping Table - Kemet 48
The Kemet 48 Lapping Table is equipped with a 48 inch diameter serrated lap plate. The lap plate consists of 16 cast iron individual segments bolted to a support plate.
The lap plate drive system uses a separate motor and worm and wheel mechanical reduction gearbox with multi-belt drive, and is mounted in a floor standing base. This is a fabricated steel channel framework with panels, easily removed for ease of access during maintenance. It has four high density cast iron serrated conditioning rings (17" I.D.). It incorporates a digital process timer and a fully automatic Liquid Diamond Dispenser System.
Designed for Diamond Lapping processes, these machines come equipped with liquid diamond dispensing, as well as conventional abrasive, systems and are fitted with a choice of Cast Iron or Kemet Composite Faced plate/segments.
